Here are the five Farmers Wife blocks I made this weekend. One of these blocks took significantly longer than the others to sew. I decided to paper piece for accuracy.
Guess which one it was?
This is the offender.
Notice anything?
Lesson Learned:
Trust your piecing skills! You/I can do it!

Your blocks look really nice! I think it's such a charming book. Isn't it something how we can talk ourselves into things that end up making more work in the end. I've kicked myself a lot for things like that.
Those look lovely. I like your color choices.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving dear Jackie :)

They're gorgeous! And the one that took so long -- I'm impressed! What's wrong with it? I think it looks great!
Beautiful blocks. I don't understand what the problem is with the one that took so long. It looks perfect to me.
Have a great Thanksgiving!
Lovely and don't worry in a quilt no one will notice! I have some blocks that I have tossed into my not happy pile too!
Your stitching and piecing are great. I know what you mean about the block. I spent most of my day making sure my machine was sewing 1/4" accurately. I'm tired of mishaped blocks. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
This is going to be a very charming quilt. Happy Thanksgiving my sweet friend. Hugs, Marie
Beautiful work and I love the fabrics too Jackie!
They're all gorgeous! And I think the "offender" looks beautiful. All those tiny pieces! Great job! :o)
awesome blocks !!!
Love the colors!! If I tried that, I'm sure my blocks would not be blocks! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
I LOVE the colors!!!! These blocks are gorgeous!!!!!
magnifiques ! encore de belles réalisations
bisous de France
3 hours!! Oh my gosh, Jackie--I had no idea quilting took that much time... Probably the same way non-stitchers don't realize how much time stitching takes! I love them all--fun and festive!
Enjoy your Thanksgiving with your family :)
beautiful blocks and such lovely colours you have picked.
Good on you Jackie. I won't be repeating that block either if I decide to do more than the 111. Lovely
These look lovely! Don't be so hard on yourself, I'm sure the block will work just fine when it's in the whole quilt.
They are lovely Jackie. I admire anyone who can quilt. I'd be so bad at it.
Woooo! I wouldn't know where to begin to make something like that. They are great! Even the 'offender'. :)
Jackie, she's very pretty. As always, love your color plan. Happy Thanksgiving!!
Beautiful Farmer's Wife blocks, love your fabric choices. Hugs
I love your new blocks. I think I wouldn't redo the one which isn't as perfect as the others. But it depends on how much you feel stressed by looking at it, lol.
Your blocks looks lovely and I love them .
Happy quilting Jackie :-))
Oh my gosh Jackie, I love the fabrics you're using! The blocks look great. Love your stitching post, too--nice progress on AoTH!
Jackie I think your blocks look wonderful and the prints and colors are so neat. I really don't see an "offender".
