I thought I'd show you the goodies we received at A Primitive Gathering. I was so surprised! Two pair of scissors (one goes in a class project), some Gloriana Florimell silk floss, a couple of patterns, a hornbook pendant with my initial, and a hornbook frame and pattern. The quilt pattern also has a pattern for primitive stitching/sewing accessories included.
See the "J" pendant above? Someone said that Jean Lea's husband made these for us. He's quite talented, don't you agree? I can imagine working with something so very small and using power tools.
We received this from Apryl and Bunny of Priscilla's Pocket. Too cute! I've purchased my fabric and fibre to stitch this. I changed the colors up just a bit. It will be a quickie!
I truly feel so fortunate to have been able to attend such an event. This is the first time I've done anything like this. Are they all this good?! I'd love to hear of your experiences with classes.
I hope you're getting plenty of time with your stitches this week!

I love those black scissors! Such a unique shape. They look antique!
Wow....that is just so fun...glad you had a good time.
Great goodies!
Lovely goodies! I agree about power tools and little pendants. It looks great!
Wow! I've never traveled to a class before, but I did a quilt retreat and it was awesome!
Fantastic! Love the little pressies! I've only traveled to a couple of retreats - they were so much fun! We did get little presents as well. I think Lois at Elegant Stitch is the one to really go all out with presents. I've heard she makes practically all of them herself too. I'm so glad you had a great time. You should go to more retreats! I want to too!
Woooah, Jackie, that is the sweetest swag! What a great treat that was to both attend such a wonderful event and to come home with such amazing goodies.
Enjoy it all!
I have always wanted to attend a class and just never got around to actually doing it...but maybe :)
XOXO

I have never attended a retreat anything like this.....I hope in my lifetime to get to one day though!! Thanks for sharing these gorgeous goodies!!! Enjoy, Faye
Oh wow! I'm like Faye...I've never attended a retreat at all, but I would LOVE to. You got some fantastic goodies. I would love to be able to go to one and meet fellow stitchers or quilters or whatever kind of retreat I went to. It's so fun to share our passion with others that feel the same. Great haul!! Enjoy! :)
OMG, those are some great goodies!
Wow, Jackie, you were truely spoilt at the retreat. Two pairs of scissors is really amazing. I have also looked at the pictures of your last post and I love the Stacy Nash drumroll pincushion. It looks gorgeous! I have never made such a finishing and can imagine that it's rather tricky. So doing it at a retreat together with others and all the advice that might be necessary seems to be great.
I have never done anything like this
