Remember Me

I've picked up Anniversaries of the Heart and made some progress on it, finishing the December block.  This project is on my guild's WIP Challenge List and I really hope to finish it this year.  I still have to finish that last double block, I've made a good start on it, and plan out and stitch all the personalization for each block.  So I have quite a bit to complete yet.  This block will be dedicated to my almost 83 year old Dad as December is his birth month- just have to plan it all out.

I've been knitting too but don't have anything to show.  I'm actually contemplating ripping out half of an almost finished project.  Still pondering that one.

I hope you all are having a good week!

your AoTH is beautiful Jackie - I know you can finish it by December. knitting is sometimes a love/hate relationship - right! Some people like to be challenged by their projects - me - I just like to enjoy the journey and maybe have a pretty finish along the way. Just remember enjoyment should be key in any project - well that is according to Mel!

What a pleasant surprise this morning to see a post by one of my fav people! Your stitching is just gorgeous. I love when you share the stitching, well anything really. Hope you're not suffering from to much heat and humidity. We're climbing in temps and should be at 110 by the weekend - ugh. Big Hugs!!

It looks wonderful so far. You have me intrigued with a mention of your guild WIP challenge. Lucky you to have a group support like that!

My closet LNS is a 3-4 hour drive one way! That might be a good thing though since I have many projects kitted up and have yet to stitch, your wip challenge being one of them. Keep up the great work.

What a wonderful tribute to your dad, Jackie--lovely colors in the December block.

Yikes! Possibly ripping out almost half of a finished project--hope it doesn't come to that!

Great that you are progressing on this wonderful piece so beautifully. I should pull my next anniversary out too. But at least I have gathered all the names of people and places that I want to see on the different blocks.
