Unintended Hiatus

It's been a few weeks since I posted last. My hiatus was unintended. A couple of Fridays ago I caught some type of stomach virus necessitating an urgent care visit. It was most likely food poisoning and it's taken me some time to recover and to gather up energy for anything other than work.

I have not stitched in over 2 weeks. I just picked up my knitting needles Wednesday (where I immediately messed up my project so bad that I had to rip and rip and rip). I did some sewing last weekend which was my first foray back into my hobbies. When I don't feel well I read - and there hasn't been much of that either. I'm glad to get back to my various needles.

I did pick up my framed HallowEden. My camera settings must have been moved as these pictures are a bit grainy. The linen color is off here as it's a light green in real life. I really enjoyed stitching on this linen.

Not where this will stay but another picture.
HallowEden Framed
A close up of the frame. I've found I enjoy selecting frames, it's fun!
HallowEden - Close up of frame
I have been reading blogs posts, just not commenting quite so often. I'll get better at that this week. This weekend I've purposely spent at home - not that I've accomplished much but these days Saturdays seem to be spent on the go and away from my husband. It's been nice to have two whole days with him without any list of things to get accomplished. I hope you all had a great weekend and I hope to have something else to show you soon! Happy Stitches!

Oh gosh that sounds horrible. Food poisoning can make you very sick and weak. My daughter had it and it took her also a while to recover.
Your frame looks awesome. It suits the piece very well.

Sorry to hear you have been feeling so bad - food poisoning is not any fun at all.

Food poisoning takes so much out of you. Glad to hear you are on the mend though.

Hey Jax - glad to hear you're on the mend! YAY! HallowEden looks cool! I like that frame shopping doesn't intimidate you like it does so many others; that takes all the fun out of it.

Hope you're feeling back to normal now. Stomach things are the worst -- especially food poisoning. Ugh! Love your framed piece! You're very good at picking frames. I just feel lost when I'm at the framer's. lol!

I'm sorry to hear that you were so sick, Jackie! I hope you've recovered well by now. :P Stomach issues are the worst. We had a virulent stomach virus work its way through our house a few weeks ago and I think I'd prefer a sore throat any day over that!

Congrats on the beautiful framing!

Oh no! This isn't good news at all. I wonder if we got the same thing. Although I haven't had to hit the ER I'm also have similar symptoms (day 7) and have to hit the DR myself. Hmmm… Listen, you get much better and by the way, I need to go back and catch up. Last I left you - you were in the midst of waiting on a design wall. for all your creativity to flourish even more.
