I took a one class beginning paper-piecing class this past week. It's not as hard as I thought but it takes longer than I thought. Fun!

I also took class 1 of a 6 week technique class based on this book. I've chosen un-traditional fabrics. First weeks blocks were the Christian Cross and the Rosebud. This is a fantastic book. It gives a bit of history on each block, lists the different names it can be called and the instructions are well laid out. I'm looking forward to learning new skills!
Look at this cute shoe fabric! Isn't it adorable?
Happy Valentines Day to you all! I'm spending the day with my honey!
Good Times this Weekend!

You most certainly have a great weekend planned! Love the fabrics.
Gorgeous fabric choices. Perfect colors for a Valentine's Day post too.
You are going to have a fun day!!! Can't wait to see all the finished products. Enjoy and Happy Valentines Day!!
Hi Jackie, I love your fabric selection - esp. the shoe fabric, how fun!! I was also wondering how you found out about the stash busting give away and such. I think it would be fun to participate in stuff like that or swaps, but I'm new to blogging and still getting my feet wet so if you have pointers, i'd love to know them. Happy Valentines Day.
Such lovely projects and fabrics! I just love the shoe fabric! This really makes me happy.

The pink shoe fsbric is lovely! And thank you for commenting on my blog!
Jackie - you'll love Eleanor Burns books - I learned a ton from watching all her shows (and re-runs) on PBS for years! She's so funny and clever! And I love the pink heels fabric! What are you going to do with it?
Cheers!
