I've picked up Anniversaries of the Heart again and laid Ann Dale down until I've received the corrected chart pages from Shakespeare's Peddler and figure out what I'm going to do. If you're stitching Ann Dale or have purchased the chart but don't know what I'm talking about, check out this post. If you're stitching Ann Dale, I'd love to hear what you've decided to do.

This isn't my favorite block on AotH and this particular area has given me problems. I've had to stitch this part three times! It doesn't look complicated - and it's not. Sometimes counting to two can be a challenge! Hopefully that's all behind me now and I can move on!
Close up of AotH
I've not been sewing much at all for the last 6 weeks. Actually not at all. But I have my monthly bee obligation to satisfy. I sat down today and did that. This block looks better in real life. I just love the rainbow of color. I was thinking of using this block for my month (August) but now I need to regroup and figure something else out.
We Bee Learning Bee Block
I'm looking forward to having some time tonight to stitch a bit on AotH. I have mixed it up a bit for Theme-a-licious March Madness but not too much. I hope to get a few rows into Long May She Wave again this month too. I'm not good with juggling a lot of stitching projects so we'll leave it at the few I've touched this month. It's outside my comfort zone but it's not pushing me over the edge! :)

I hope all your stitches this week are happy ones!

Jax - oooh! The colors in that quilt block are just so lucious! Sorry about the grief over the stiching.

So how exactly does the error affect your stitching? Is it in one of the borders that you've already stitched? Such a bummer! :( Your AotH looks good though, and the quilt square too. Love that quilt square!

Nice going on AotH! Sorry it's been problematic though... sometimes you get that for no particular reason.

The BBD looks so pretty. I don't know why it's so hard to count sometimes. We all learned to do it in kindergarten! Hopefully, it was a temporary distraction.

Pretty quilt block!

I feel your frustration about the wait for Ann, but I'm sure it'll worth after all. And look at you have someone else keeping you busy! Your bock in rainbow color is looking so festive!!

I've heard that there are major errors in Ann Dale. A lady I know listed a lot of them on the HDF forum. I'm not stitching it so I am clueless but maybe her notes can help you?

Good for you on plugging along on AotH. Amazing how I've fallen off the wagon on that one!

I love that quilt block! Such amazing color! :)

Good that you got past the point where you errored. I have done this myself - just today. But mission accomplished. Got past it. As for Ann Dale I'm still waiting the correction myself. I did stitch on some of the motifs. I'll email you an update in the next few days. Love your quilt block. Wow! Great job Jackie.

Your quilt block is gorgeous, Jackie--so bright and happy looking...

Isn't it strange how sometimes the most simple looking portions of charts give us a hard time! I know just how you feel :) Hope the corrections arrive quickly and that you hadn't already stitched the mis-charted border in question!

Lovely rainbow-colored quilt block! Reminds me of a wall-hanging we used in my Rainbow Girls group (a girl's Christian youth organization).

AotH is coming along nicely as well; can't wait to see the other
blocks.

Your stitching is lovely and I admire you for having the patience to do that type of work. I've got two needlepoint pieces that I started years and years ago and I wonder sometimes if they will ever be done.

Is there a reason you haven't been sewing or are you just not in the mood? :)

Jackie..I make enough mistakes on my own, I would need to be medicated if there were chart errors I had to wait on! LoL!
Your quilt block is fantastic..wonderful job.

Hope your AotH block goes well from now on. I think we all do that at times. I know I do and I get so frustrated! It looks so pretty though.

Lovely quilt block.

I too have heard of these errors. Hopefully they are fixed and posted somewhere to help you along. Beautiful progress though on your AOTH. Sometimes I get stuck on the simplest of things and have to frog something out a billion times!!!

Waving from across the pond Jackie! :-) Hope you do not have to do lots of frogging on your sampler due to the correction? Love your patchwork. Looks like you are enjoying being part of the bee.

Your block looks great!

I messed up on that AotH block, too. I was one stitch off somewhere and ended up fudging because I discovered the miscount after a few days of stitching. Typical! LOL Yours looks sweet, despite the frogging.

Have a great weekend!
