Family Time!

We had a busy few days with family in town the end of last week and over the weekend.  These two were in from Arizona.  We had a great time - they've grown so much.  Their parents need to move closer!

No sewing time but I have been stitching!  More work on A Lady's Worke Box by With My Needle.  This is one side of the pincushion. I need to redo the border because I stitched it over 2 stitches instead of following the directions!

I've had a bit of stitching ADD as I've also worked on Long May She Wave and Shores of Hawk Run Hollow in the last 3 days as well.  It's been fun!  Very atypical for me!

I hope you're all having a good week and that your stitches are bringing you happiness!

Looks like a great time with your family! Good for you working on the Ellen Chester piece. I haven't touched mine since February.

I'm glad you had a great time with family visiting. It's tough when our families are spread out across the country. Pretty stitching! Sometimes it's nice to jump from project to project, isn't it?

Your pin pillow is so sweet Jackie - I don't think it would matter that the placement of the border if off a little - looks fine to me - only would make it a tiny bit bigger in the finishing. Glad you are having fun with family. Your doggie looks a bit like "OH no not them again" Enjoy Mel

Very pretty stitching. If it were me, I'd leave the border as is, but I know you'd never do that.

Very cute visitors!

The cross stitch is looking lovely.

It's hard to live far away from family. I'm glad you got to spend some time with those two little ones.
