Resisted...!

I was this close to signing up for a Rainbow Jane BOM.  Deb is working on her Dear Jane and her Instagram photos are irresistible!  Then I remembered that I had 19 projects in progress, one of which is The Farmers Wife quilt.  So I decided to work on the green block - during which I realized I need another long term project like I need a hole in the head!  Some of these blocks take a lot of time!

The orange and red block I'd done some time ago and I don't think I shared it before.  I hope to have an update for you on my 19 projects soon.  I was down to 18 here.  I hope you each have a great week and that all your stitches are happy ones!

Beautiful blocks! Love the fussy cutting for the centre of the green block.

Love the blocks. 19 projects? I have two in the works and it makes me nervous! ;-)

I'm working on finishing up projects too, but started two new ones over the weekend (I was weak). They are pretty easy though, so hopefully I can finish them quickly and get back to the ones in waiting!

Wow, 19 in-progress? That's a lot. Good for you for being irresistable - or is that un-resisitable? Your blocks are great, very different from what I usually see; they make my mouth water!

Your blocks are so pretty and vibrant. They make me think of spring! Sounds like you have a lot of projects going so it's probably a good thing you resisted another one. Hugs!!

I'm going to have to tell you that Dear Jane is becoming addicting, but I think that you've gone in the right direction with starting on the Farmer's Wife. Give you some practice before you get to those smaller blocks on Jane. Your quilt is going to be so fun - I love those fabrics!!

Farmer's Wife is a fun quilt. We did it as a quilt theme two years ago and it is now a UFO that needs the handquilting finished for me. Love your retro look blocks. Makes me think 1960s or 70s.

Hugs from Holland ~

I love how the orange color ties the two blocks together. That is going to be one fabulous quilt.

Very nice, Jackie! I lost my quilting mojo a while ago and have just not been able to get refocused. You, however, are doing a phenomenal job.
