Drive By Post

I'm traveling for work this week but I brought my personal computer. I thought I'd do a quick post....here are the latest Cotton Club blocks. Missing one but I hope to start it soon. I really enjoyed these three. When I sewed them I was just in a zen place. Not everything went well but even frogging didn't pull me out of my zen spot. I love it when that happens!

I've been fiddling around with those pesky flying geese. I still haven't decided if I'm going to keep working on them or trash them. For now, they remain alive and well and on my sewing table.
Flying Geese
They measure 1 1/8" x 1 3/4".

See you on the other side of the weekend! Happy Stitches!

Safe travels and try not to work to hard. Love the blocks you have made and the colors are wonderful. Do you take sewing or stitching with you when you travel for the evenings?? Hugs!!

The blocks look lovely, and I really like the flying geese, but they must be fiddly at such a small size.

Wow! I'm impressed that you even post while away for work, Jackie! Your blocks look great--hope that zen-like feeling persists :)

Love these blocks! Those flying geese are so tiny and cute but I can see how they might be pesky. :)

These blocks look gorgeous. Why toss them? You can always turn them into something even if you think that they aren't perfect.
Have a safe return home.

Wow! Really small flying geese! Maybe in vertical rows with vertical rows of fabric in between? Enjoy your trip as much as possible between the work. A change of scenery can be such a nice break.

The CC blocks look great Jackie. I've only got one done from last month's and this month showed up yesterday. I cut them out but they're sitting there. I love sewing those little things! Sorry about the frogging but glad you didn't move out of the Zen place!

Oh my those are some small flying geese. Maybe paper piecing would be easier. Sure like what's going on in your studio. Sandi

Wonderful that you have time to stitch these beautiful quilt blocks. Love those rich autumn colors, and I wouldn't even think of tossing those 'pesky flying geese'. They are sure to 'land' in just the perfect way for you to stitch them all together!

Oh my, such tiny blocks!
And while writing tiny, I realize that Tiny is a Dutch name, the i pronounced as the y in tiny.

Seriously? Very good to stitch so tiny!
