Quick Post...

I finished the second block in the Blackbird Designs Anniversaries of the Heart series recently. I must say that the satin stitch and I are not friends. I stitched that part twice and am not completely pleased. Chain stitch was a first for me. I'm really enjoying this project. I have a feeling that I'll love each block more than the last one. As with the first block, I'm saving the personalization until I have time to sit down and really plan out the entire set of personalizations. I do have some ideas!

It really is lovely. Others rarely see the bits we dont like of our own work. They just see the beauty of the end result.

(Satin stitch and I are not friends either !)

Boy you whipped thru that one Jackie - looks very nice to me - I just finished up my AoTH chart collection - now to get thru Snow Garden - I don't know why I have such a mental block on completing that one. Cheers! Mel

Congratulations on finishing Valentine Rose. I don't mind satin stitch but I left off the chain stitch as I couldn't seem to get my head round it and was scared I made a mess of it and ruined the whole thing!
