One Day....

My friend Henri (who should have a blog she is SO talented) made this bookmark. Isn't it just the cutest? I'd love to learn to scrapbook and make cards one day and I could only hope to be half as talented and creative as Henri.
Unfortunately, the picture of the entire bookmark came out fuzzy. Here's a picture of the back:
Today my sampler guild is having their monthly gathering so I'll spend the afternoon with friends doing one of the things I love to do. Greg is out on a long bike ride with his group so he's having a good day. I hope you spend your Saturday doing exactly what you want to do too!

Sounds like both you and Greg will have fun today.

That bookmark is adorable. Love the long skinny legs on Miss Birdie.

That is a cute bookmark! I myself occasionally scrapbook, but its just not as portable as knit or crochet projects (although I do dream about having my own craft room some day . . . ).

So cute! I wouldn't mind learning how to do stuff like that too. Not enough time in the day!

What a great idea!! I've been thinking about making artsy fabric bookmarks.

Ohhh...I DID spend the day like I wanted! :0)
Looking forward to seeing YOUR day's pics.

As for scrapping; I took that on for a couple of years; finished up a 12-month book on my oldest, started a 12-month book on my middle (I think I'm on month 6???--she's not 6 YEARS old), and I created a 12-month for my youngest (**chuckle**...ummm...Month 1?--she's not 4 years old.)

I think I'll stick with quilting and pawn these books off on a friend who scraps. :0)

Sounds like you're going to have a great day with your Guild! And that card is wonderful. I wish I could do things like that, but don't think I have the ability nor the patience!

Beautiful bookmark. I've tried scrapbooking but I guess it's just not for me. I feel frustration more than creativeness when I try.
