Going from Flower to Flower!

A little bit of this, a little bit of that, and not a lot of any one thing going on here. The only thing I've managed to complete is this one block. This is the latest block in my LYS $5 quilt. I have never sewn a bowtie before and I must say that I enjoyed it! For some reason, I didn't think I would. It came out right sized too!!!
I hope you're buzzing from flower to flower just like me and enjoying every minute of it.

Happy Stitches!

I love it!! I've always loved bow ties! I don't think I've ever made one though. Glad it was fun!

Very pretty. I love the combination of fabrics. That center fabric is outstanding!

Good job on the piecing. I know how precise you have to be. That's why I knit. LOL

I am very impressed. I am so intimidated by quilting. I need quick, fast projects or I never finish them!

Love the square Jackie! I have one to do soon in my next quilt project. I'm glad to hear it wasn't as difficult as it looks. I got your email and I'm trying to reply with useful info...so please don't think I left you hanging. :)

Bow ties! It's a favorite patch of mine too. For her millenium quilt, a quilting friend made 2000 bow tie patches, each in a different print. It was very neat. So is yours.

For some reason, I've always liked the look of a bowtie block, but didn't think I would enjoy piecing one. Your block looks great, I may have to add this to my ever growing list of things to try!

Love bowties! They are great for showing off fabrics too. I seem to be fluttering from flower to flower too. Can't seem to get any one thing done at the moment.

AAAWWWW - wonderful Jackie - I love the look but of course not being a quilter - I've never heard of the "bowtie" block. Yes of course I've been buzzing along but mostly stitching and not much knitting. Look forward to seeing you soon - Mel

Love the bowties! That block reminds me a bit of klojses that are so popular in blogland at the moment. Great job!
