I'm halfway through the 3rd page of the chart on Quakers and Quilts.
I'm still enjoying every second of this project!

Saturday our Stitching Guild spent the afternoon together and then went out to dinner at a delicious Italian restaurant that I had not been to before. Delicious!

I spent some time in my sewing room yesterday but what I was working on wasn't interesting enough to post pictures. I worked on the backgrounds for 2 blocks. One background is cross hatched with a light batting behind it and the other is pieced. Applique will got on top of both of them. In January I had a quilting/LQS event every Saturday. In February that will slow down a bit and I'm looking forward to going back to my Saturday knitting.

We're supposed to have rain all this week. UGH! I hate getting wet on the way to work.

Happy Stitches!

I love this piece! Your progress is gorgeous! I tried looking for the chart when I went to my LNS's sale recently, but no luck. Maybe next time! Nice that you got to try a new restaurant!

Jackie your Q&Q is so beautiful in person - the colors are so rich and you are moving right along. It was great spending the afternoon with you on Saturday. Hope our week is not too wet - Mel

Quakers and Quilts looks fantastic Jackie. I love the fabric that you're using for it. Really goes well with those fibers.

Sounds like you had a great time with your Stitching Guild. I always love going to mine, but we don't have dinners after - maybe we should!!

Glad you got some quilting time in yesterday. I did too, finally, and sewed half the blocks wrong! AUGHHH! I guess it was just one of those days!!

Your hand work is as precise as your quilting!! I know what you mean about rain. We get way too much. We're supposed to get a mix of rain, snow, and sleet off and on all week. The snow over the weekend was pretty and fun, but I don't think this mixture will be.

Your stitching is beautiful and so fun that you're enjoying it so much. You are so talented what with stitching, quilting and knitting. Did you get your wall hanging hung yet? We need to see a picture when you do!! Keep your chin up with those grey skies and stay dry.

A wonderful piece and what a nice progress. And I have just admired your pieced block that you show in your last post. It's beautiful with the fabrics your used.

Everytime I see your lovely stitching, I feel like starting too. Maybe I should one day, but I am afraid it will be one of those projects that I start and never finish. I have enough of those ...

I love seeing your updates on this piece, Jackie--it is so pretty. Heard from my parents that you are having a lot of rain down there, too! Hope it warms up and the sun comes out soon...

Love your valentines small quilt - if you want to hang it on the wall just use silk pins - they barely leave a hole :)
Also, your stitching is so great...

Oooo, beautiful progress, Jackie!

The snow we received on Friday is slowly melting so all the roads are wet and sandy and salty. My car needs a wash badly!
