Chart 2 Done!

I went back to work on Monday. I have, however, picked my stitching back up and I am making progress - slow progress but progress nonetheless! I have a New Year start to show you once I get a bit further along. I also finished chart 2 of Quakers and Quilts. The Algerian Eyelet has not been stitched in yet though.
I figured out how to change the font on my sidebar but it changed the font on everything on the sidebar. I just wanted to change the font on the header on each section. So I'll go back to the drawing board at some point on that one. I also want to make my blog fill the entire screen when opened. If anyone has any great (fairly simple) tutorial, etc to help with that, I'd greatly appreciate it!

This winter has been much colder than normal. We've had temperatures here below freezing for the past 6 days. Very unusual for Florida. I'm already ready for it to warm up. Typically our average high in my area is 64 degrees for January. I don't know how those of you in much colder climates handle months of it! Please stay warm!

Great job on the stitchery and you know I am NO help at fine-tuning blog formats!!! LOL This cold spell is horrible and the citrus crop is really suffering from what they are showing on our news. *sigh*

Quakers and Quilts is looking so nice Jackie! I'm envious of what everyone is getting done. There are so many projects to choose from isn't there? I know what you mean about cold. It's been quite frosty here too, and we've been getting snow quite a bit. My son isn't complaining though, but he's not the one that has to drive in it! LOL!

Jackie, that's gorgeous! I just started this piece on NYD and have part of the first page stitched. I shall be getting back to it once my current WIP is done.

Now stop that! I don't need to see this gorgeous project! lol! I love it! Are you using the recommended fabric and fibers? It's wonderful! As for the temps -- I sure hope you all warm up soon. I hate the cold. I'm so glad it's only teens to 30 range here and not the negative numbers like in some areas of the country. Brrrr!

My gosh, you are good!!! Your stitches are perfect!!! You have lots of patience and talent!!!
Cold is right. My niece lives in South Fl and she's had trouble with her power going off a lot the past few weeks!!! I wonder what that's about. She's freezing.

I love the look of your blog, Jackie! And the stitchery is gorgeous! Looks like the fabric is "distressed" in some way?
I've been hearing about your cold temps on the news and from friends visiting Florida who have been forced to go to the movies rather than wander the beach! Stay warm!
Cheers!

I don't like the heat but this winter has been way below average and we have been in the single digits with wind chills below 0

Your stitching is lovely! It is very warm here for January, 79 degrees. It stays warm late into the evening too. We are really enjoying it, knowing it will cool back down. I hope it warms up for you soon. I know the oranges can not take those cold temperatures.

Beautiful, Jackie!

Sorry to hear about the cold, but at least you don't have to deal with the snow that we're getting up north!! 4-6 more inches by Saturday...

Oh, I love your quaker and quilts stitching. I have that in my stash and really want to do it. I have no sympathy on the cold :) I am just glad it is up to 24 above zero today. Marjo

Quakers and Quilts are looking great! It seems like it's cold every where, we don't know where to put the snow anymore.

I'm working on that sampler too -- only I always work right to left for some reason, so I started with chart 5... :)
